Technological initiative I

On 29 February 2008 the Minister of Science and Higher Education entrusted to the National Centre for Research and Development with the task of funding and monitoring of targeted research projects and preparatory studies to be implemented within the framework of „Technological Initiative I” – Endeavour of the Minister of Science and Higher Education.  The aforementioned decision was made pursuant to article 5 section 1 item 4 of the Act on the National Centre for Research and Development dated 15 June 2007.


Having signed the respective agreement for assignment of rights and obligations, the Centre shall acquire contractual obligations arising from 45 agreements concluded by the Minister of Science and Higher Education with Beneficiaries of „Technological Initiative I” and sign new funding agreements for those projects, whose purpose is to reflect the Endeavour’s goal more accurately than agreements signed by the Minister of Science and Higher Education.   


The National Centre for Research and Development shall also sign funding agreements for 96 projects for which the Minister of Science and Higher Education failed to conclude agreements before 29 February 2008. The Centre shall use for the aforementioned purposes its own blank agreements.

As decided by the Minister, the Centre shall monitor the implementation of the aforementioned projects, performance of agreements signed for them and respective financial settlements in compliance with its own procedures. If you are a Beneficiary of the Endeavour, please familiarize yourself with those procedures, blank reports and requests for payment.
